Make-up tips for tired mums
First things first. Take a rejuvenating bath!
Take 5 minutes to hop in the shower. Use a loofah with your favourite scented shower gel and scrub away! Feel your mood lift instantly.
Prep your face by moisturizing
Moisturizing will plump up your skin and make it look fresh and make your makeup glide on better. Dry skin makes you look tired.
Use an eye concealer to hide fine lines
It is your eyes that always give you away. Fake an ‘awake’ look by applying an eye concealer with a brush to give an even look. This will also hide dark circles.
Apply a skin smoothening foundation
Apply a lightweight foundation all over your face and neck to conceal uneven skin tone and fine lines.
Bright eyes!
Applying a very light shade on the inside corner of your eye will brighten your eyes up. Then apply black or navy eyeliner to make the white of your eye look brighter. Now you can apply a double coat of mascara to open up your eyes. Don’t forget the lower lashes.
You glow, girl!
Now it’s time to add some bronzer or blush. The idea is to look refreshed. So be light-handed with the blush. Apply it on your check bones while smiling for the best result!
Finish off with a pop of colour
You can now finish off your look by adding a pop of colour with lipstick. Choose a colour that suits your outfit and your complexion. Brighter colours make you look younger as opposed to browns that age you. Add a dab of gloss for a stunning result!
