This 30-day Challenge Will Transform Your Marriage!

Doing a few simple activities each day can actually transform your marriage! Why not try out the 30-day challenge and find out?

They say that a little act of kindness can go a long way. By that line of thinking, more acts of kindness can make a really big difference to your relationship too. That’s exactly how the 30-day challenge works to transform your marriage.

How can the 30-day challenge transform your marriage?

transform your marriage

Small acts of kindness go a long way, and can transform your marriage!

By doing these small acts of kindness each day, you will slowly transform your marriage into something that’s even more amazing!

1. Give your spouse a love jar that contains small notes that they can read everyday

These can be anything from a simple “I love you” or short messages to make your spouse smile.

2. Kiss your spouse first thing in the morning

A kiss from you first thing in the morning can really make your spouse’s day!

3. Tell them why you love being married to them

Reaffirm your relationship by letting your spouse know why you love your marriage.

4. Ask them if you can do anything for them

Everybody needs a little help sometimes, and this is a good opportunity to show your spouse that you care.

5. Tell your spouse something you like about him or her

It can be anything under the sun, so long as it’s something that you absolutely love about your spouse.

6. Watch a movie together

Take some time off, and just sit down and watch a movie together. You don’t even have to go out, you can just rent a movie or watch something on Netflix.

7. Say thanks

A lot of couples forget to say thanks to each other. Make saying thank you and showing your appreciation to your spouse a daily habit.

8. Talk about your goals for the future

Ask your spouse about what their plans for the future are. It doesn’t necessarily have to be about you as a couple, it could be a personal or professional goal that your spouse has.

9. Tell your spouse a joke

Laughter is the best medicine, and everyone appreciates a funny joke!

10. Talk about how you first met

Reminisce about the past, how you became a couple and how you still feel the same way about each other after all these years. This can help transform your marriage and turn it into something amazing.

11. Say something you love about them

It could be the way they take care of you, your kids, or how they always make you smile whenever you’re feeling down.

12. Give your spouse a kiss right when they get home

It’s a nice way of making your spouse feel welcome and a great way of relieving stress after work.

13. Give your spouse a nice warm hug

A hug can express a lot of things even if you don’t say anything. Sometimes your spouse just needs a nice warm hug to make their day a lot better.

14. Write your spouse a special note

It doesn’t have to be long, it can just be a few words that show how much you care. Leave it somewhere they least expect it so that they’ll have an amazing surprise.

15. Cook them their favourite meal

Everyone loves a home-cooked meal. Nothing’s better than when your spouse cooks it for you!

16. Forgive your spouse

If you’ve been holding on to a grudge for a long time, or if there’s something your spouse did that you can’t quite completely forget, then maybe it’s time to do so.

17. Cuddle!

Cuddling is sometimes much better than having sex. Why not spend a couple of hours in bed together just cuddling and talking about anything and everything?

18. Ask them how their day went

Take some time to catch up with each other. Ask your spouse how their day went and really listen to what they have to say.

19. Say sorry to your spouse

Try to recall any instance where you might’ve hurt your spouse, and neglected to apologize. Be sincere and let your spouse know that you’re trying to be better.

20. Do something without being asked to

It can be as simple as cleaning the garage, taking out the trash, or washing the dishes. Little acts of kindness such as these can really help transform your marriage.

21. Ask your spouse what you can do better

Everyone has room for improvement. Ask your spouse about what they think you can improve on, and focus on trying to be better.

Small compliments go a long way, and your spouse will definitely love hearing one from you!

23. Have a date night!

Take your spouse out to your favourite restaurant for an intimate dinner. You don’t have to spend a lot of money, just make it special and let your spouse know that you care.

24. Think positive thoughts about your spouse

Try to think of different things that you love about your spouse, and try to focus on positivity. This one is more about changing your mindset and focusing on the good things rather than the bad things.

25. Say ‘I love you’ through your actions

A tight hug, a kiss on the cheek, saying thank you, all of these things let your spouse know how much you love them even if you don’t say anything.

26. Go out and watch the sunset

Sunsets are amazing, and very romantic. Why not mix things up a bit and go somewhere to just sit and watch the sunset?

27. Go to the park together

Try and take a walk in the park with your spouse. It’s not just good exercise, but it’s also a great way for the both of you to relax and spend some time with each other.

28. Make a promise to your spouse and stick to it

Promises are meant to be kept, and are important in any marriage. Promise your spouse something unique and special, and do your best to stick to that promise!

29. Tell them how much they mean to you

You won’t be where you are right now in life if not for your spouse, so why not take the time to tell them just how important they are in your life?

30. Tell your spouse that you want them to succeed

Personal success is important for anyone. And for married couples, pushing each other to be successful is important, and it’s a sign of a mature and healthy relationship.

Remember, your spouse’s success is also your success, since you’re helping them reach their goal every step of the way.
