(26–27 July 2025) “Together, We Can” – 1,800 Shavees Unite at VivoCity to Support Children with Cancer

More than 1,800 Singaporeans are gathering at VivoCity this weekend (26–27 July 2025) to shave their heads in solidarity with children battling cancer. This marks the return of Hair for Hope (HfH) 2025, the Children’s Cancer Foundation’s (CCF) signature fundraising and awareness movement.
Themed “Together, We Can”, this year’s campaign is a powerful call for Singaporeans to unite in support of children with cancer and their families, fostering empathy and reducing stigma surrounding hair loss during treatment.
Since its inception in 2003, Hair for Hope has become Singapore’s largest head‑shaving movement, attracting over 75,000 shavees and raising $54 million to date.
A New Chapter: SPS Eric Chua Appointed CCF Patron
In a significant leadership milestone, Mr Eric Chua, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Law and Ministry of Social and Family Development, was appointed as CCF’s new Patron, succeeding Professor Ho Peng Kee, who served for nearly 30 years.
“It is a great honour to be appointed Patron of CCF. The Foundation has stood by children and families through some of their toughest moments. I look forward to walking alongside CCF to build a more compassionate and supportive society for children with cancer,” said Mr Chua.
