Teacher feeds semen to his students

61-year-old Mark Berndt, looks like a regular middle-aged man but the lewd acts he committed upon his students (behind closed doors) were beyond shocking. He has been accused of victimizing over 23 children aged between 6-10, over a five-year span at Miramonte Elementary school. Mark has been teaching for over thirty years—yet he’s only caught now.

Around 600 pictures were found by a photo lab technician at a pharmacy—there was something very wrong about these photos. The photos were of kids in blindfolds with mouths taped – they were being fed a milky white substance.

Bondage photos and “spoonfuls of a milky fluid”

Children have come forward and one even described how Mark had tricked a whole bunch of kids into a classroom where he served them cookies with a “creamy” substance on top. Mark had taken photos of them while they were eating the cookies. DNA tests have proven that the substance is indeed Mark’s semen!

Kids were enticed by Mark because he described this obscenity as a “game” and games are supposed to be fun. A former student disclosed that he kept a jar of Vaseline on his desk—hmmm…we wonder what for? His hands were also on his lap most of the time.

In a statement from the LA Sheriff’s Department describing the photos– “depicted girls with what appeared to be a blue plastic spoon, filled with an unknown clear/white liquid substance, up to their mouths as if they were going to ingest the substance.”

More details in the statement: “There are also photos of children with large live Madagascar-type cockroaches on their faces and mouths.” Police found: “a DVD of film depicting adult sexual bondage activity which mirrored the bondage-type photos of the children.”

A few lewd school staff

Apparently, Mark Berndt wasn’t the only school staff abusing authority over innocent kids. The entire staff is to be replaced due to parental outrage and other lewd allegations on staff members.

A teacher’s aide, a woman in her fifties, allegedly sent letters to a student in 2009. The mother of the student revealed that one read: ‘When you get close to me, even if you give me the chills I like that. Don’t tell nobody about this!’

Yet another teacher, 49-year-old Martin Springer, allegedly fondled two second grade girls within his class room. Martin has taught for 26 years.

The situation

A former student of Mark, Nadine Martinez Rodriguez, told CBS2 that school officials did not take her complaints seriously. She said: “When I first saw the news about Mr. Berndt getting arrested, I thought ‘Wow,’ It just took 22 years for him to get caught.”

It’s really sad and scary, investigators and school administrators were not able to identify all the students. Reports say that 10 other children that were unidentified have been without counseling and was not tested for sexually transmitted diseases. What about all those years that kids were victimized yet no one knew about the situation?

So please listen to your kids—read the signs, be tuned in to their body language. Ask them about their day and make sure you are involved in their lives. Children are sent to school to be educated, to be socialized into the norms of proper social conduct and to be shaped into useful citizens. Parents only expect a productive classroom environment for their children.
