It has been years since I went into a parenting forum. With 3 kids, there is so much to do and yet so little time left for everything.
Just a quick intro of myself. I have a 5yr old girl, QQ and a pair of twin boys (also call them Bumbo Boys) who have just celebrated their first birthday a couple of days ago. Still breastfeed both my boys until now. Also attached to babywearing and now running a lil babywearing biz from home.
Anyway, it is great to be in here and hope to meet more mums with multiples!

My daughters classmate was diagnoed with infantile at 3 months. She took medication from 3mths till recently seizure free.
Her mummy gave up a job as an accountant to take care of her and took her for all sort of expensive theraphies.
Now the child is turning five and is in a special school. She can walk reasonably, understand simple instructions, say a few words like mama.
Ask your doc for recommendations on the next step. If your child needs to go to special school don’t delay. Early intervention means early cure.

Hello Zuleha,
A little bit about me. I am running my own business, specializing in nutrition & wellness and have a background in financial planning. Actually, a good friend of mine adopted a baby boy about 2 years ago. She adopted this child while she is studying and living in Oslo, Norway. As I’m very close to her, I treat this child like my very own.
He is celebrating his 2nd birthday this November and I can’t wait to hold him. As we haven’t got any experience in parenting, we really have to learn a lot. I would welcome tips from anyone here at the Asian Parent.

Yes, this child is Norwegian. My friend adopted him when he was 2 weeks old. It was a long story. Anyways, the child’s name is Syah Ryan Elandra. He was not given a name when born so my friend gave him a name.
Now, he is practically running around. Almost 24 months old. Very bright little kid. He loves his "Pooh Bear" soft toy which is almost the same size, if not bigger than him. All this are according to my friend. She told me everything about this child. I chat with my friend almost everyday on MSN and phone. I haven’t seen him before. Nevertheless, I would shower him with my love and affection. I’m looking forward to visit my friend and her family next year in Oslo.
