Yi Fan: A Math Prodigy
Yi Fan is only 10 years old but he is already taking degree-level Maths. This exceptionally gifted child started exhibiting his Math prowess at the age of 3. At an age when most of his playmates were still learning how to count from 1 until 5, Yi was already talking about fractions.
His father is a senior lecturer at Brunel University in West London while his mother is a housewife. Both his parents are wondering where they will put him for secondary school as they do not think that the regular curriculum would be challenging enough for him.
Yi’s teachers are all praise for him. Kevin Sullivan, the deputy head for the Knutsford School said that he has never seen any student like this boy throughout his career.
10-year old Yi is also performing excellently in English and Physics. He is also very good at playing the piano. But despite this boy’s giftedness, Yi is still unsure as to what he wants to become in the future.
Well, it’s definitely too early for Yi Fan to worry about the future. With proper guidance from his parents and teachers, I am sure that he will turn out just fine.
