It’s Job Week For The Scouts!
As the Chief Scout of Singapore, President S. R. Nathan has officially launched the Scouts Job Week at the Istana. During the Job Week, scouts all throughout the island will knock on doors and offer to help homes, offices or businesses in exchange for donations.
Another Boy Dies of H1N1
A five-year old boy who was admitted to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) recently died of the H1N1 flu. According to Channel News Asia, he got the virus from his uncle and his condition worsened during the Lunar New Year holidays.
